The Terms and Conditions below is the basis of the contractual relationship between you, the passenger, and us, Travel China With Me. By booking a trip or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, please be sure to carefully read these terms and make sure you understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.
Reservation
- Once receiving your request, one of the travel advisors from TravelChinaWith.Me will start to assist you in building a pleasant trip plan based on your requests within 24 hours.
- Upon the receipt of your deposit, TravelChinaWith.Me will process the final booking immediately and make the booking secured by sending you the confirmation as soon as possible. In the confirmation, you will be informed the final details of itinerary, invoice, and local contacts, etc. In case, any conditions have to be changed after the confirmation, TravelChinaWith.Me reserves the right to make changes and provide the similar alternative options.
- It is highly recommended to make your reservation 30 days prior to the actual departure date especially for the high season from April to October.

Payment Policy
After receiving your booking, you will be required to prepay deposit of USD $49.99 (Guiding Hiring) or first day’s rent (Car Rental). The balance will be paid on spot when you arrive in China.
Cancellation and Refund
If you only require to hire a guide, in all conditions, you will only need to pay cancellation fee for USD $49.99. If you rent a car also, the cancellation fee will be its first day’s rent.
Alternation of Itinerary
Providing you a most suitable tour as we can is our responsibility. So, before your booking confirmed, alterations to your itinerary are unlimited, and the process is free of charge. We also provide service free of charge if there’s alternation to your itinerary after you’ve received your booking confirmation letter. However, changes to departure date or destination may incur cancellation fees. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
TravelChinaWith.Me reserves the right to modify the itinerary of your tour if air or train schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alterations necessary. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged/refunded accordingly. If it is you who request the changes to your tour, then you will be required to pay any additional cost accordingly in advance.
Travel Documents
A valid passport and necessary Chinese visa are basically required. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of yours. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. TravelChinaWith.Me accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for your failure to obtain appropriate documentation.
TravelChinaWith.Me is responsible to help you to obtain the Tibet Permit when you book the tours to Tibet with us.
Luggage Allowance
In accordance with the regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20 kg (44 pounds) for the economy class, 30 kg (66 pounds) for the business class, and 40 kg (88 pounds) for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of yours. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.
Insurance
TravelChinaWith.Me’s services don’t include Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance. We highly recommend that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from your own country.
Health Requirements
You should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize yourselves with health requirement applicable to the areas you intend to visit. You are solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of government in countries visited or transited. You must advise us in writing, at or prior to making reservation, of physical, emotional or mental condition which may require professional attention during the trip or may require the use of special equipment.
Travelers to Tibet are required to provide a doctor’s certificate stating that he/she is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal in case that the very high altitude have the possible effects on certain people.
Complaints and Claims
Whenever you feel unsatisfied with any service that TravelChinaWith.Me has provided, please tell your local guide or your travel advisor immediately to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.
In case a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email or regular mail in writing within 15 days upon you finish of the tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. TravelChinaWith.Me will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.
Responsibility
TravelChinaWith.Me shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or personal property, alteration of itineraries or cancellation in part or in full, caused by climatic conditions, sea fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond TravelChinaWith.Me’s control. Neither TravelChinaWith.Me nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes.
TravelChinaWith.Me shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent or fraudulent, omissions, changes of itinerary, cancellation or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers such as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not directly owned or controlled by TravelChinaWith.Me.
TravelChinaWith.Me is not responsible for a customer’s failure to comply with customs regulations.
TravelChinaWith.Me is not responsible for the theft or lost of any customer’s valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the customer.
TravelChinaWith.Me reserves the right to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If TravelChinaWith.Me has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, TravelChinaWith.Me is liable for a full refund of the money received by TravelChinaWith.Me.
Many of TravelChinaWith.Me tour packages include activities which require care attention. Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. TravelChinaWith.Me, its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its said employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
