The Dai Ethnic Folklore Village

The Dai Ethnic Folklore Village is located beside the Liusha River 1.5 kilometers southwest of Jinghong City. It occupies an area of 667,000 square meters, 534,000 square meters being land and the rest being water. The village is divided into the southern and the northern gardens, combining the typical tropical scenery and ethnic cultures into one. It can be regarded as a miniature of Xishuangbanna.

The Village has exhibition halls for different ethnic groups, such as the Dai people’s hall, the Hani’s Hall and the Jinuo’s Hall. Each one itself is a small ethnic village. Folklore activities are held inside. These activities vividly reflect different ethnic cultures.
